Supplier & Distributor of Soldering Equipment, Rework Systems
& Specialised Products for the Electronic Hobbyist, Trade & Radio Amateurs

We have attended two exhibitions this year of which sales were very low
The recent Gold Coast Hamfest we attended our takings were more than 80% less than the previous years, this was despite having credit card facilities for the first time & our prices being the lowest they have ever been,
We therefore didn’t even cover our table hire ($75) & fuel let alone vehicle costs (We now have a Hiace van of which rego & insurance is expensive, we only use the van for exhibitions we attend) & that's not to mention cost of wireless Eftpos machine we have to rent, the raffle prize we donated, insurance & all our time involved etc.
Due to all the hard work involved in getting ready to undertake an exhibition, and with all the costs involved (Fuel, vehicle costs, Motel’s, advertising, Public Liability Insurance, food etc.) we are at this moment undecided if we should keep attending such events, especially if it involves large distances which incurs Motel’s costs etc.
We never expect to make large profits at exhibitions as often we class our attendance at these events as a public relations exercise, not only that it gives customers the chance to physically see the products ands appreciate the quality of Aoyue products before they buy
However please understand we can’t afford to keep making large losses on exhibitions that we attend
Therefore please bookmark this page to be kept updated on any exhibitions we might decide to attend in the future
Sorry for the disappointing news
